32 Weeks

Here we are again with another month coming and going and we're at 32 weeks! Baby wise not much has happened this month- the biggest thing being that we did a third trimester class and hospital tour recently! We have a different insurance since having Stella and so we will now be at a new hospital. We had class for about an hour and then toured the hospital for about an hour. It was great! In comparison to the hospital I delivered Stella at, the Labor and Delivery rooms are about the same size or a little smaller maybe, but the post partum rooms are quite a bit bigger! We don't want many (hardly any) guests to come and visit us at the hospital anyway but when we do it will be nice to have a slightly bigger post-partum room! With Stella we were there for a bit over 48 hours after she was born. This hospital only keeps you about 24 hours after- so it will be short and sweet. I'm going to be very interested to see how this goes for us because we hated being in the hospital so long last time but I feel like 24 hours is so short. I guess we will see!

Since this hospital only keeps you 24 hours after we decided that we are only going to ask that Stella and our parents come to visit us- none of our grandparents, siblings, nieces/nephews, extended family or friends. We wished we would have put our feet down about that last time because those first hours are so precious. It won't matter down the road to our family members if they saw baby boy in the hospital or in the days to come shortly after!

Other than having a cold the last two weeks everything has been great the last month. We celebrated mother's day by renting a townhouse in Tahoe! James, Stella, my sister (Becca) and I went up for 4 days 3 nights. We were really hoping to get some summer weather while we were there but it ended up being really cold and snowed! It was fine that way though- we were happy to get out of town and relax!

We are two weeks away from having baby boy's baby shower! Also two weeks away from me being done with school! I can't wait to have no obligations except to enjoy the last month as Stella being an only child!
