SOLD!

In other news we're buying a house! We are so excited to be moving out of our crummy duplex and upgrading to our first home! We currently are living in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 car garage duplex with a yard. It is in a cute neighborhood and a great price, but everything about it is outdated! We haven't really felt like it was a place of our own in the entire 4 years we have lived here!

After a few months of looking for the right house for the right price in the right neighborhood, we finally found one 2 weeks ago! We put in the offer after it only being on the market for a few hours and we're unsure of what would happen because they had 2 open houses scheduled for that weekend! On Monday, our realtor (my uncle, + my aunt & my mom) let us know that the offer had been accepted so long as we would be able to cover the costs if the appraisal came in lower than our offer! This made me a little nervous but our appraisal came back yesterday at exactly our offer price! It is working out wonderfully! The whole process is supposed to finish on June 12th- just about a month from when we put in our offer!

We're upgrading to a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and with a great backyard (large deck area)! It is going to be so nice to finally have a place that we will call ours, especially with our sweet little girl on the way! This will be just in time to get the house all ready for her arrival!
